Diamond has long been considered a prized and a sought-after material, however its application in the electronics industry is currently significantly under realized due to the existing limitations of synthetic diamonds even though diamond deposited onto electronic components can transfer heat 22 times more effectively than silicon while operating at temperatures five times hotter.
We have developed a new manufacturing process to deposit thin layers of synthetic diamond faster than any competitor while maintaining a purity of diamond over five times that of current industrial processes. Our process has application across the semiconductor industry, but also has achievable near-term market opportunities in diamond-coating for increased tool-life and usage efficiency in tooling and machining applications.
